Yes. Thank you for this Andy Sensei. I wonder when we forgot to just be? We all come from the same place. We all head to the same destination... We may not take our toys. We arrive alone and must leave alone. Thank heavens we share the journey together. I don't understand much but am Thankful for my fellow traveler's along the way, who ease the journey. They are kind. Give Love and forgive. In turn I offer the same as best i can. Animals have no choice. Humans must choose to remember, for we are both blessed and cursed by choice.

Beautifully put.
Thank heavens for these all to fleeting moments that grace our lives.
Once known the reassurance is such that it seems all can be born with courage to face each moment afresh in the challenge to just be.
Thank you for reminding us.

Havent read this in a while, nice to check back in every now and again. Nicely summarised and in truth two things that drew me to martial arts for years. I started my journey through an altogether more gentle route studying Yoga for many years, and, interestingly, though the words are different the concepts of Bujitsu and Budo are present, indeed carried on from, the older forms of Yoga. Good article, you should send it out again on FB :-)

Shinbudo is very unique and very thought though. Its not easy. If you can understand what is meant by "moment mastery" you will develop a very powerful tool within yourself that you can take with you.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."
